Last week, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signed a deal with Netflix that could be worth up to $150 million. In the wake of this announcement, it’s been revealed that Harry and Meghan have since been cut off by Prince Charles, who will no longer be giving money to them.

Newsweek reported that it’s been confirmed that Harry and Meghan will not be receiving money from the royal’s father Charles any longer. Charles had been supporting Harry and Meghan financially since they stepped down as senior royals earlier this year. After they stepped down, it was revealed 95 percent of funding for their private office came from the Prince of Wales’s estate.

This comes days after Harry and Meghan announced their deal to create content for Netflix.

“Through our work with diverse communities and their environments, to shining a light on people and causes around the world, our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope,” they said in a statement. “As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us, as is powerful storytelling through a truthful and relatable lens.”

They went on to say that Netflix’s “unprecedented reach will help us share impactful content that unlocks action.”

It has since been reported that this deal “could include a documentary on Princess Diana,” but royal sources are warning that it could “fuel tensions between him and William.”

A source close to the situation said that the documentary would focus on Diana’s family history and heritage. However, the insider also voiced fears that it would only fuel the growing rift between Harry and his older brother, Prince William.

“It will work as a tribute to Diana and build on all the incredible charity work she has done,” a source told the Mirror. “Netflix would also love to make a documentary about Diana and it is something they have been pushing for.”

Referring to William and Harry, the source added, “These plans could further antagonize their fallout. If it does happen William will be the first to know.”

Harry and Meghan bought their own home in Santa Barbara, California back in July, moving there with their 1 year-old son Archie.
