The Hollywood star Jane Fonda just spoke out to say that at 82 years of age, she is officially done with dating.

Fonda told The Guardian that while she has spent much of her life in relationships, she has no intention of embarking on another one.

“[That part of my life] is gone. I can tell. It’s just over – I’ve closed up shop,” the Academy Award-winner said. “I’m extremely happy on my own.”

Fox News reported that Fonda has been married three time: to Roger Vadim from 1965 to 1973, Tom Hayden from 1973 to 1990, and finally Ted Turner from 1991 to 2001. She most recently dated record producer Richard Perry from 2009 until 2017.

This comes after Fonda talked to a New York Times reporter about her past sexual experiences as well as some missed opportunities.

“Who I do think about, and what is a great regret, is Marvin Gaye,” Fonda confessed in this conversation. The reporter had initially asked the actress if she regretted not having sex with Che Guevara, to which she replied, “No, I don’t think about him.”

When pressed on her encounter with Gaye, she said, “He wanted to and I didn’t.”

“I was married to Tom [Hayden],” she explained. “I was meeting a lot of performers to try to do concerts for Tom and the woman who was helping me do that introduced me to Marvin Gaye.”

Fonda also said that she regrets having a sexual encounter with her co-star Marlon Brando while they were working on the 1966 film “The Chase.” She described the encounter as “disappointing,” although she added that she still thought of Brando as a “great actor.”

Dating isn’t the only thing that Fonda has given up as of late, as she revealed earlier this year that she is also done with plastic surgery.

“I can’t pretend that I’m not vain, but there isn’t going to be any more plastic surgery,” Fonda told Elle Canada back in February. “I’m not going to cut myself up anymore.”

As she prepares to start filming season seven of her Netflix show “Grace & Frankie, Fonda said that she plans to lose ten pounds before production begins.

“There was a time when I was anorexic, but I never got below 112 (pounds). I don’t let it get too far out of hand,” Fonda said. “I’m not at my fighting weight right now. I’m 127. My fighting weight is about 119. So, you know, when we get three weeks out from shooting Grace and Frankie, I’ll lose 10 pounds.”
