It has just been revealed that the supermodel Gisele Bündchen exploded on New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick for the way he treated her husband, Tom Brady.

The New York Post reported that after the Patriots lost to the Eagles in the 2018 Super Bowl, Bündchen joined Brady for a meeting with team owner Robert Kraft about the way head coach Bill Belichick treated the franchise quarterback. Author Jeff Benedict detailed how this meeting went down in his new book “The Dynasty.”

“She also pointed out how ridiculous it was that after all these years, Belichick still treated Brady like ‘f—–g Johnny Foxboro.’ It was bad enough to never voice approval,” Benedict wrote. “It was bulls–t to still be dressing down the most accomplished quarterback in league history during team meetings and treating his personal trainer and best friend like some kind of outcast.”

In the months leading up to this meeting, cracks were starting to become apparent in Brady’s relationship with Belichick. Benedict said that another meeting took place between Brady and Belichick at Kraft’s home after the Super Bowl loss.

“Hoping to facilitate some constructive dialogue, Kraft told them how important they both were to him. Belichick was diplomatic. Brady was respectful. But the distance between them was obvious,” he wrote.

In the meeting that Bündchen took part in, discussions quickly turned to Brady’s future.

“Kraft wasn’t surprised by their feelings toward Belichick,” Benedict said. “He hadn’t, however, expected to hear that Brady and Bündchen wanted to leave New England.”

In the spring of 2018, Brady got candid about what it was like to play for Belichick.

“We’ve had a great relationship, a very respectful relationship for a long time. I feel like he’s the best coach in the history of the NFL,” Brady said at a press conference. “He has a management style [with] players, and he would say, ‘Look, I’m not the easiest coach to play for.’ I agree. He’s not the easiest coach to play for.”

Brady ended up leaving the Patriots in March of this year, when he signed a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Days before the signing, Brady is said to have had a phone call with Belichick that “didn’t go well.”
