Warner Brothers executives have reportedly finally addressed the allegations that have been made against higher-ups at both “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and at TMZ.

“I am both concerned and disappointed by public reports regarding patterns of unacceptable behavior that have been raised in recent weeks,” WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar wrote in an email to staffers, according to BuzzFeed News.

Warner Bros. CEO Ann Sarnoff addressed the issue in a memo of her own, saying she “empowered, and will hold accountable, the Studios and Networks HR and Legal teams to act on any issues that are brought to them. These groups are a safe harbor where you can register any concerns.”

This came as dozens of current and former employees of both “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and TMZ came forward to say that their workplaces were toxic. There were claims of racism, intimidation, and even sexual misconduct on the set of the show.

DeGeneres herself has been hit especially hard by these claims, as her entire brand revolves around her “be kind” mantra, which she says at the end of every show. Current and former staffers have claimed that DeGeneres is anything but kind behind the scenes and that she is a nightmare to work for.

It was previously reported that DeGeneres broke down last month during a Zoom call with over 200 staffers as she admitted that she is “not perfect.”

She also said that she has realized that in the effort for the show to run as a “well-oiled machine,” sometimes leaders were not as sensitive to “human beings” as they should have been.

DeGeneres reportedly went on to say that reading the disturbing allegations about the toxic atmosphere on the show was “heartbreaking.”

Despite everything that has happened, sources say that DeGeneres said many times on the call that she was “proud” of the show’s success, and that the program would “come back strong” next month.

“This will be the best season we’ve ever had,” DeGeneres said.

The new season of “The Ellen DeGeneres” show is set to premiere this coming Monday. It remains to be seen if DeGeneres can bounce back from this scandal, or if she will end up being “cancelled” forever.
