Yesterday, we reported that Hollywood star Chris Pratt had welcomed a baby girl with his new wife Katherine Schwarzenegger. Now, it’s been revealed that Pratt’s ex-wife Anna Faris, star of the CBS sitcom “Mom,” “quietly congratulated” him and Schwarzenegger after the birth.

“Anna congratulated them and sent a gift,” an insider told E! News. “They are on good terms and have a nice relationship. She’s happy for Jack to be a big brother and is very supportive.”

Faris and Pratt were married from 2009-2018, and they are the parents of a 7 year-old son named Jack together. Last year, Faris opened up on the “Divorce Sucks!” podcast about what her relationship with Pratt is like now, as they are coparenting together despite the failure of their marriage.

We are so good and respectful towards each other, and I think that there is so much kindness and love,” she explained at the time. “It is very difficult to be completely separate from somebody you have spent so much emotional investment with.”

Pratt announced the birth of his daughter on Instagram alongside a photo of the infant’s hand.

“We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt/ We couldn’t be happier,” he captioned the photo. “Both mom and baby are doing great. We are extremely blessed.”

Pratt also included the following two Bible verses:

Psalm 126:3
The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.

Psalm 127:3-4
Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.

“Katherine and Chris are over the moon and adjusting well,” another source said. “Katherine is such a natural mom and Chris is a very hands on dad. They couldn’t be happier.”

Last month, Schwarzenegger talked about what her pregnancy has been like for her.

“[It’s] definitely an interesting time to be pregnant but a really fun time to also find the silver linings and to be able to organize and find more experience in the kitchen has been a big part of that,” she said.
