Inside Ghislaine Maxwell’s Hellish Life In Prison – Here’s How Authorities Are Keeping Her Alive

It’s been just over a week since Ghislaine Maxwell, the alleged former madam of the late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, was arrested by the FBI. After Epstein managed to commit suicide in prison last August, it’s just been revealed that authorities are taking a series of measures to ensure that Maxwell stays alive during her time behind bars.

Maxwell is reportedly being moved from “cell to cell” in the Brooklyn, New York prison where she is being held amidst fears that someone will try to kill her. The 58 year-old British socialite has also reportedly been forced to wear paper clothes and to sleep on a bare mattress so that she can’t hang herself with clothes or bedsheets like Epstein did.

Insiders told Daily Mail that prison officials are so “terrified someone will try to kill her” that they have constantly been moving her around the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

“She is being moved from cell to cell and sometimes has a cellmate, sometimes not,” an insider said. “Jeffrey Epstein died behind bars and they are terrified someone will try to kill Ghislaine.”

The source went on to warn that there are also fears over a COVID-19 outbreak in the prison “which could kill her” as well. Former warden Cameron Lindsay had previously told the New York Post about the level of risk for a high-profile inmate like Maxwell.

“To take someone out like that, that would be a badge of honor in the subculture of prisons,” he explained.

The Daily Mail’s source said that Maxwell now looks “far from the perfectly groomed socialite seen in photographs,” as she has long hair and unkempt nails after ten days in prison.

“She was in deep shock at first, but she is getting better each day. She is not a whiner or complainer,” the insider  continued.

Each day, Maxwell is woken up at 6am with a breakfast of “grits, wholewheat toast and fruit,” according to the British publication. All of her phone calls are limited to fifteen minutes, and she only gets a maximum of 300 minutes per month. On top of that, Maxwell is banned from having any “nude or sexually suggestive” photos.
