Country music stars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood just announced that they are postponing their Facebook concert that was set to take place on Tuesday and are going into quarantine after possibly being exposed to the coronavirus pandemic.
“While Garth and Trisha are fine, the Garth/Trisha camp has possibly been exposed to the Covid-19 virus,” the couple’s team said in a statement.
“To be smart about this, they are all quarantining for 2 weeks and thank everyone for their concern.-Team Garth & TeamTY.”
Brooks and Yearwood have been delighting fans with their at-home concerts throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
Fox News reported that they even had their own concert special that aired on CBS in which they performed from their own recording space known as Studio G.
Brooks brought the house down with his rendition of “When You Come Back to Me Again” before teaming up with his wife for duets of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” and Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow” from “A Star is Born.”
This comes a month after Brooks announced a massive concert event at 300 drive-in theaters across America beginning June 27.
“I am so excited to get to play again,” he said at the time.
“This drive-in concert allows us all to get back to playing live music without the uncertainty of what would be the result to us as a community. This is old school, new school, and perfect for the time we are in.”

“This one guy came to me and said, ‘Hey, look, we can put 300 drive-in theaters together if you will create a concert solely for the drive-ins. We can have families jump in the car, get them out on Saturday night,'” Brooks explained.
“They’re going to run it just like a regular concert, but this is going to be all over North America, one night only,” he added.
“We are excited because this is a reason to get out of the house, but at the same time you get to follow all the COVID rules from every individual state and you get to have fun and stay within the guidelines of social distancing … we’re calling it ‘social distancing partying.'”
