Courtney and Eric Waldrop have been understandably quite busy since 2017, the year that they welcomed their sextuplets: Blu, Layke, Rawlings, Rayne, Rivers, and Tag.

Now, the Alabama parents, who are also mom and dad to three older sons, Saylor, Wales, and Bridge, are gearing up for season 3 of their show “Sweet Home Sextuplets.” To mark this occasion, Courtney and Eric sat down with Fox News to talk about how they’ve coped with being in quarantine in their temporary mobile home amidst the coronavirus pandemic, and to discuss how faith plays a crucial role in their family.

“It has been a challenge for sure,” Courtney confessed about having all nine children home at once. “When school permanently closed down and the big boys come home and I still have six 2-year-olds. I’m trying to do everything on top of school work. It’s a lot for sure.”

“We’re used to having a lot of people over,” added Eric. “When we did the quarantine, we didn’t allow anybody over. I continued to still go to work because I was an essential business.”

The timing of this could not have been worse, as Courtney and Eric had just decided to expand their home before the COVID-19 pandemic started since they were “busting” out of it with all the kids. This forced them to move into a temporary mobile home while the construction was happening.

“We’re going on seven months now and we’ve still not completed this renovation,” Courtney said.

Despite this, Eric said the family is just thankful to have a roof over their heads, as they know that others are not so lucky. In the end, their faith is getting them through this just as it has with any other challenge they have faced in their lives.

“Our faith and trust in God is what gets us through every day,” Eric explained. “It’s what got us through since really the beginning of this journey of finding out we were having sextuplets.”

“If it wasn’t for our faith, we wouldn’t be sitting right here right now. There’s no question about it,” he continued. “That’s a huge part of mine and Courtney’s life and we instill that in our kids and we lean on God and our faith to get us through every day, for sure.”

The new season of “Sweet Home Sextuplets” is set to premiere on Tuesday, June 16 at 10 pm ET on TLC.
