Meghan Markle was just publicly humiliated when she was branded a “fame addict” by royal insider Lady Colin Campbell, who does not paint a flattering picture of the wife of Prince Harry in her upcoming book.

The U.K. Sun reported that in her new book “Meghan and Harry: The Real Story,” Campbell describes Meghan as an “operator” who may even have aspirations to run for president of the United States someday. In one particularly unflattering expert from the book, which is due out later this month, Campbell states that “Meghan’s whole life is an act” and claims Harry “was desperate to meet someone”… “he’s not the swiftest”… “he’s a prop” and “pathetic.”

“This person is no more suited to royal life than Angelina Jolie would be to competitive boxing,” Campbell wrote of Meghan. “She has inflated herself beyond natural entitlement. Since she always wanted to be a star, she has this propensity for exaggeration.”

“As for Harry, he should have been instructive. This nonsense that she didn’t at first know so much about him… I mean, please,” she added. “She’d looked him up in books. And she pats him like, ‘good boy.’ She even answers for him.”

Campbell also told the Daily Star that the rift between Meghan and the royal family began just four days after her wedding to Harry, at a garden party that Colin attended along with the royal family.

“I knew the tremendous amount of hope the Royal Family invested in Meghan being a success,” Campbell wrote. “Hundreds of millions of people of color were rooting for Meghan, I was rooting for Meghan, being a Jamaican, I was emotionally invested in Meghan’s success.”

“Virtually everybody I know, including my Royal friends, the wider aristocracy, wanted Meghan to be a success,” she added. “But it quickly became apparent the ride may not be as smooth as everybody had hoped it would be, and it would not be quite as positive as everybody had hoped it would be.”

When asked what exactly happened at this infamous garden party, Campbell said,“I can’t repeat it exactly, it’s in the book, but what I can say is, something happened at the very first garden party at Buckingham Palace.”

Campbell, who is the author of the 1992 book “Diana in Private: The Princess Nobody,” has spent decades rubbing shoulders with the royals socially, so she says she knows what she’s talking about.

“I know the lot. The royals. The courtiers. They’re friends,” she said. “I’ve attended their parties. Been to their homes. And I’ve taken care to be positive and even handed, although Meghan’s thrown the whole British family under the bus.”

Campbell’s latest book is scheduled to be released on June 25.
