The Grammy-Award winning British singer Adele shocked her fans this week when she looked absolutely unrecognizable in a new photo that shows off her 100 pound weight loss.
Adele took to Instagram on Wednesday to post a photo, thanking her fans for their birthday wishes in the caption.
“I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time. I’d like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives! You are truly our angels. 2020 okay bye thanks x,” she said.
Fans could not believe their eyes when they saw how thin Adele looked in the image, as she looked like a completely different woman!
“I mean are you kidding me,” commented supermodel Chrissy Teigen, summing up the thoughts of internet users everywhere.
“Oh my gosh! She looks stunning,” one fan commented, with a third writing, “Wow. She looks amazing.”
The U.K. Express reported that Adele has changed her life to live a healthier lifestyle over the past year. Those close to Adele say that the changes she has made have left her feeling more confident on both the inside and the out.
“Adele feels sexier than ever and she’s so happy to be going into the new year looking and feeling great,” one source close to her said.
Adele reportedly decided to make changes to her lifestyle last year after end of her eight-year-long marriage to Simon Konecki. Judging by her latest photos, it’s safe to say that Adele’s “revenge body” has been a massive success!
The beloved singer posts a birthday message to her fans every year, and last year’s read, “I’ve changed drastically in the last couple years and I’m still changing and that’s okay.”
The BBC reported that there is speculation that Adele will release her first album in five years at some point in 2020. Back in February, footage emerged of Adele performing at a friend’s wedding, and she could be heard saying, “Expect my album in September.”
Good for Adele for changing to a healthy lifestyle that made her feel better in so many ways. We can’t wait to (hopefully) hear her new music later this year!
