Sofia Vergara of “Modern Family” fame gave her fans something to smile about this week when she posted a throwback bikini photo while also urging her fans to stay home amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
Over the past few weeks in quarantine, the 47 year-old actress has been sharing various throwback photos from her days living in Miami, Florida in the 1990s. Her latest simmering photo has really gotten heads turning, as it shows off her enviable body.
“#tbt Miami in the 90’s🌞🌞 🧜🏼♀️ #stayhomemiami😷❤️❤️,” she captioned the image of herself laying down in a bikini that left little to the imagination.
The photo immediately went viral, with many of her 19 million followers commenting on how incredible she looked.
“So gorgeous,” one fan wrote, with another adding, “Bet you had them drooling bby!”
This comes a week after Vergara scored a viral hit with another throwback bikini photo, this time with her posing in a black swimsuit.
“#tbt The 90’s Miami,” she simply captioned the image.
Many of Vergara’s fans marveled at how she has managed to defy aging, saying she looks younger now than she did over two decades ago.
“You looked older then,” one fan wrote, with many others saying that she”looks better now.”
“Ha! Ha! You looked older then. Was it the white highlighter on the upper eyelid?” someone else commented. “I think you look so much younger now. Must be love!”
Vergara is married to actor Joe Manganiello and she is the mother to one son Manolo with ex-husband Joe Gonzalez.
Vergara’s beloved show “Modern Family” came to an end in April after eleven seasons, much to the dismay of fans who still loved it. She has already signed on for a new gig as a judge on the NBC show “America’s Got Talent,” and she’s already hit the coveted Golden Buzzer!
“I did, I couldn’t help myself! I don’t know why, it was like something I felt inside and I felt it was right,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “It was on my first day. So, I was like, ‘I don’t know who the hell I think I am, but I know already.'”
“But I think I made the right choice,” she added. “I think the people are gonna watch it and think that person deserved it.”
Vergara went on to say that she never thought she’d be a television judge on a reality show.
“I never, in my life, expected to do something like this. I’ve never done anything like this,” she said, adding that she was hesitant when first offered the job.
“I [was like], ‘Wait, I have to think about this, I don’t know if I can, you know, be a good judge or whatever. And the more I thought about it, I thought, ‘You know what? This actually sounds like a group of people that I could be part of,” Vergara continued. “It seemed like the right thing to do after eleven years of Modern Family. To mix it up, you know?”
