Country music star Carrie Underwood is ready for summer, and she’s not afraid to let the word know it!

The 37 year-old singer just took to Instagram to both express her excitement for summer and to show off her toned physique as she posted a bikini photo of herself that showcased her abs.

In the photo, Underwood could be seen wearing a floppy sun hat and a two-piece bikini as she smiled broadly.

“Is it summer yet?” Underwood captioned the image, before adding the hashtags, “#PoolReady” and “#ChooseYou.”

Fans could not get enough of the image, immediately commenting on how fit Underwood is.

“You look amazing!” one follower wrote, with another adding, “Love how happy you look! You’re beautiful both inside and out.”

“Holy smokes,” a third fan wrote simply alongside fire emojis.

This comes one month after Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher shared a video urging fans to practice social distancing amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

“To help the health of our community, we’re asking everyone to stay at home as much as possible and practice social distancing,” Fisher said in the video, with Underwood adding, “That’s right, working together we can stop the spread of COVID-19.”

“Do your part, stay apart,” the couple said at the same time before Fisher concluded the video with, “God bless you guys.”

Later on in April, Underwood went viral when she performed her song “Drinking Alone” with a glass of wine from her couch.

“This song actually seems to be striking a chord, more than ever with a lot of you these days, especially while so many of us are riding things out at home,” she said.

“Just remember though, we’re not really alone. We are alone together. And that is exactly how we’re gonna get through this mess.”

It’s nice to see that Underwood seems to be doing so well in quarantine. God bless her for continuing to take the time to brighten up her fans’ days during this difficult time!
