Life seems to be going well for Hollywood star Brad Pitt right now, as sources are saying he is “getting on better” with his ex Angelina Jolie after they were able to agree on custody of their children.

Pitt and Jolie split in 2016 and proceeded to have a divorce that got quite nasty at times, and it was only finalized last year. After they finally agreed on a custody agreement of their six children, however, it appears that things are going better for them.

“Brad’s kids are the most important thing to him. He tells his friends he learns so much about life from his own children,” a source told ET Online. “He and Angie have been getting along so much better since the custody rules have been worked out. They have come so far.”

One person who is undoubtedly happy about Pitt and Jolie getting along is their daughter Shiloh, who turned 14 on Wednesday.

“Shiloh is close to both of her parents. All the kids have been looking forward to Shiloh’s birthday and plan to celebrate with a birthday cake,” the source said. “Brad is so proud of Shiloh and who she has become. He loves that she always stays true to herself and is so good to her brothers and sisters.”

A judge finally ruled that Pitt and Jolie’s marriage was done in April of 2019, and a source said afterwards that their relationship was “the best it’s been since their split.”

“Brad and Angelina have come a long way,” the source said. “To the surprise of many of their closest friends, their communication has improved tremendously and they’re both dedicated to co-parenting. Their kids have a custody schedule and that’s made a huge difference for the whole family. The schedule has alleviated any of the planning pressures Brad and Angelina have faced in the past. Now the kids spend time with both their parents and are happy and thriving.”

This comes weeks after another source described Pitt as a devoted dad who would go all-out for Shiloh’s birthday.

“She’ll have a separate celebration at her mom’s, [but] Brad would be delighted to have all his kids over for the party,” the source told UsWeekly. “Brad plans to organize a lot of fun stuff at his compound, like outdoor games and other surprises.”
