Christopher Hopkins has earned himself legions of fans who known him as “The Makeover Guy,” an artist who loves changing the lives of women over the age of 45 by giving them incredible makeovers. That’s why a 65 year-old woman named Karen decided to travel to his Minneapolis salon all the way from her home in Plymouth, Minnesota just to have a session with him.

Karen is the mother of three children and was married for 30 years before she got divorced a decade ago. Since then, she has had a hard time learning to love herself again.

“I have been hiding for ten years trying not to be noticed,” she explained. “My kids are all raised and launched. They are wonderful. My granddaughter’s wonderful. My mom and her older sister they are 94 and 95, they’re wonderful. I’m done with all of that, it’s time for me to feel wonderful too.”

Christopher knew exactly what to do to Karen, and when she saw the results of her makeover, she could not believe her eyes! It became apparent immediately that this makeover had changed Karen’s life forever.

“Nobody has ever told me in my entire life that I was pretty,” she said. “It happened today, and I called the person out on it and I said, ‘you say that to everyone,’ and they assured me they do not.”

Karen went on to talk about how the makeover had a major impact on her inner beauty as well.

“I found something that had been buried way down deep about loving myself today,” she said. “I am happy to know that it’s there and I am just looking forward to the next phase of my life.”

Social media users agreed that this was one of the best makeovers that Christopher had ever done.

“As usual, Christopher and team bring out the sleeping beauty in another woman. Bravo team for waking her up,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “It’s so cool to see their self esteem go from zero to one hundred in the matter of a few hours. The weight that’s been lifted off is visible in their body language. I’m just so happy for each person. She looks great!”
