Earlier this week, we reported that a 5 year-old boy from Utah was pulled over after stealing his family’s car and telling officers that he was on his way to California to buy a Lamborghini. Now, part of the boy’s wish has come true, as he has been taken on a free ride in a Lamborghini!

Fox News reported that little Adrian Zamarripa after officers spotted him swerving on the highway. They assumed by the way he was driving that he was a drunk driver, so imagine their surprise when they instead saw he was a little kid! Adrian told officers that he planned to drive to California to purchases a Lamborghini with the $3 he had in his wallet, and his story quickly went viral.

The story eventually was brought to the attention of Jeremy Nevis, a Lamborghini owner from Orem who was so touched by it that he decided to take Adrian for a ride in his $250,000 Huracan.

“I don’t want to condone kids taking cars and getting in trouble and breaking the law, but the success principles that he displayed were magnificent to me,” Nevis told Fox 13.

During the ride, Adrian sat on the lap of his sister Sidney, who was watching him on Monday when he made his escape in the family car.

“He’s never done something like this,” she said as they got in the Lamborghini.

Sidney fell asleep on Monday while babysitting, and when she woke up, her little brother was gone.

“He’s always said he wanted to go to California to buy one,” Sidney said. “But we never thought it would be the next day.”

Adrian loves to watch videos of Lamborghinis online, so getting to ride in one was the experience of a lifetime for him.

“I’m happy he got to experience this,” Sidney said as she began to cry. “Despite everything that is happening, he got it.”

Just because Adrian is a viral star now, however, does not mean he is off the hook. His family is punishing him with some extra chores around the house for breaking the rules and stealing the car, but it seems like it was all worth it for him! Making things even better for Adrian is the fact that an unnamed California company has offered to fly him out to actually drive a Lamborghini under supervision.

With everything going on in the world today, it’s nice to see a little boy’s dreams come true!
