Sometimes, we all need a good makeover even when we think there’s nothing about our look that needs changing. In the video below, you’ll meet a woman who thought she looked good with long hair until a makeover artist showed her that she could look even better with short locks!

Michelle travelled all the way from her home in Denver, Colorado to Minneapolis, Minnesota just so she could pay a visit to the salon of Christopher Hopkins, better known as The Makeover Guy. Christopher is known online for the incredible makeovers that he performs, and his favorite clients to work with are women over the age of 45. That’s why Michelle knew he was the perfect person to help her out when she decided to take the plunge and get a makeover.

“He always knew what to do and always made them look so much better, brought out their true beauty and what they should really be doing,” she said.

Michelle walked in with frizzy, shoulder-length, rust-colored hair, and she wanted to keep it long. Christopher, however, had other ideas!

Christopher ended up deciding to chop off Michelle’s hair, giving her a sleek new hairstyle that left her looking much younger. He also applied silver-blue eyeshadow that made her light blue eyes pop, and light pink lipstick that emphasized her lips.

When Michelle saw the results of her new makeover, she could not believe her eyes. She absolutely loved her new look!

When asked if she thought she could maintain her new hairstyle on her own, Michelle said, “I do. And that’s the thing, too, you know. I was worried that maybe I wouldn’t be able to do it on my own, but I do think I’m gonna have a lot of fun with it. I think it’s definitely something I can do on my own.”

Social media users agreed with Christopher that cutting Michelle’s hair was the right decision.
