Last week, we reported that Ellen DeGeneres was in hot water as sources on the crew of her talk show had said that she left them in the dark about pay and benefits after production was shut down due to coronavirus. Now, DeGeneres has been hit with another allegation of rude behavior, bringing her under fire once again.

Fox News reported that DeGeneres is being called out by Dutch beauty blogger Nikkie de Jager, who runs the beauty channel “NikkieTutorials.” Earlier this year, her dream of appearing on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” came true when DeGeneres flew her out to Los Angeles to discuss the moment she came out as transgender.

Afterwards, however, De Jager told Dutch publication &C that meeting DeGeneres turned out to be nothing like she’d hoped it would be.

“Call me naive, but I kind of expected to be welcomed with confetti cannons,” she said. “But instead I was greeted by an angry intern who was a bit overworked. I was expecting a Disney show, but I got Teletubbies after dark.”

De Jager went on to slam DeGeneres for giving high-profile guests of the same taping preferential treatment.

“Every guest at Ellen’s had a private toilet, but I didn’t,” de Jager claimed. “I was not allowed to use the nearest toilet because it was reserved for the Jonas Brothers. Why do they get a private toilet, I thought. But in the end, my item had eight million views afterwards and theirs two million!”

Later on in the interview, de Jager said she had also hoped to one day meet her idol, the singer Adele, but her experience with DeGeneres has her rethinking that.

“Although after Ellen, I figured, don’t meet your idols,” she said.

In another interview with Dutch TV show “De Wereld Draait Door” earlier this year, De Jager described Degeneres’ demeanor as “just a little” cold.

“It’s nice that you say ‘hi’ before the show,” de Jager told the Dutch TV hosts. “She didn’t. Ellen is just such a different world.”

This comes after it was reported that the over thirty employees who work on DeGeneres’ talk show were not given any information about the show’s status, their working hours, or their pay for over a month after production shut down because of COVID-19. Two sources said that higher-ups on the show would barely ever answer their phones, and when they did, they were evasive about giving any answers on the situation.

DeGeneres also found herself in trouble last month after she was slammed for describing life in quarantine as being like being in prison, even though she lives in a lavish L.A. mansion.

“Portia and I have been quarantining for three weeks now and it’s nice, actually, because we get to spend time together and talk and just really get to know each other, right? Did you know that she’s Australian? Fascinating,” she said. “This is like being in jail is what it is. Mostly because I’ve been wearing the same clothes for 10 days and everyone in here is gay!”
