Country music star Blake Shelton just stepped up to do his part to help people through the coronavirus pandemic by donating $150,000 to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma with the goal of helping families in need through COVID-19.

“A lot of Oklahomans are going to bed hungry tonight,” Shelton said as he announced his donation during a segment on the “Today” show. “That’s not something that I can live with. That’s why I’m going to be donating to the Regional Food Bank, the Oklahoma Food Bank. I hope you will join me and help from home.”

Shelton has been in quarantine for weeks in Oklahoma with his girlfriend Gwen Stefani and her young sons.

“It’s like Little House on the Prairie out here,” he said of life in quarantine earlier this month. “She makes [sourdough] bread. I’ve been building a fence and gardening. We’re pretty self-sufficient out here…It’s me and a bunch of Stefanis.”

Shelton announced last month that he would be growing out his signature mullet again in quarantine, but Stefani has been helping him trim it to keep it from getting out of hand.

Shelton and Stefani have also released a duet together with the song “Nobody But You,” which has turned into a huge hit! Stefani said in a recent interview that the song was originally supposed to be a solo for Shelton before she got in on it.

“It was one of those songs that I was like, ‘Wow!'” she said. “These songs come to Blake, they’re so incredible, and I was dreaming that I could be on it. We were working out together in the gym, and I was like, ‘Man, I wish you put me on this one!’ He actually turned the song off and goes, ‘Dang, I wish I would have put you on this one!’ And then he did! So here we are!”

“Gwen has a country hit right now!” Shelton added. “We have a duet. Who would have ever thought that Gwen Stefani would be on country radio?”
