Christopher Hopkins has earned himself a major online following as The Makeover Guy after posting videos of the incredible makeovers that he performs on his YouTube channel. That’s why 62 year-old Meryl decided to fly all the way from her home in the United Kingdom to Minneapolis, Minnesota just to see him.

Meryl admitted that she had not changed her hair color or style “for a very, very long time,” so she was excited to try something fresh.

“I’m feeling I need a change,” Meryl said. “There is some elusive style out there or even color that I think Christopher might find. So that’s what I’m looking for.”

Before Christopher got to work on her, Meryl calmed her nerves by having a drink.

“Now I’ve had my mimosa, I’m relaxed, I’m good to go,” she said excitedly.

Christopher loves giving women over the age of 45 a new lease on life with his makeovers, so he knew exactly what to do with Meryl. He gave her a gorgeous and multi-toned hair color that gave her the uniqueness she craved while also giving her makeup that made her natural features pop. Meryl could not believe her eyes when she saw what she looked like when he was done with her!

“I would’ve never thought to have gone this color, but, it suits my warm tones. Definitely – I love it!” she said.

When it came time to show Meryl’s new look to her husband and son, they almost didn’t recognize her. It was clear they loved her new look!

Video of Meryl’s makeover quickly went viral, with many agreeing that it was one of Christopher’s best ones yet.
