The Brits are pushing the prince formerly known as Harry to come home and be with his royal family in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak. And they don’t care if Meghan joins him or not.

The consensus seems to be that Harry bailed on his family and that they really need him now, encouraging him to come home and do the right thing for the royals.

The hubbub started when Harry and Meghan made a post on their official “royal” Instagram account responding to the Queen Mum’s official coronavirus statement after she and her husband Philip fled Buckingham Palace.

That statement read:

As Philip and I arrive at Windsor today, we know that many individuals and families across the United Kingdom, and around the world, are entering a period of great concern and uncertainty.

We are all being advised to change our normal routines and regular patterns of life for the greater good of the communities we live in and, in particular, to protect the most vulnerable within them.

At times such as these, I am reminded that our nation’s history has been forged by people and communities coming together to work as one, concentrating our combined efforts with a focus on the common goal.

Meghan and Harry posting on the official “Royal account” irked and confused Brits, who don’t understand why Meghan and Harry are still using the “Royal account” while living isolated in a Canadian mansion.

Meghan and Harry then went on their Sussex Royal account to share the Queen’s message on the coronavirus pandemic.

Instagram users were left bewildered about why they were sharing the post when they had announced their step back from the royal family and move thousands of miles away.

One Instagram user replied to their post saying: “@sussexroyal I certainly hope you are checking in on your father who is in the highest risk group.”

A third commented on the post: “Is Harry and Meghan still part of the people of UK….lol just asking after they have left their family members….double standards”

A third replied: “Why are you posting this? You’re not a member of the royal family anymore.”

One Twitter user was quick to compare the response of the Sussexes with the Cambridges to COVID-19, while also saying that Harry should step up and help his family, regardless of whether Meghan does too.

They tweeted: “#PrinceHarry has a duty to step up at this time of need and assist his brother #PrinceWilliam and the rest of the #RoyalFamily. With or without the help of #MeghanMarkle.”

Prince William and Kate Middleton, also said they “want to help” the Queen, amid the coronavirus outbreak. [Express.co.uk]

This outpouring comes at a time when rumors are swirling that Harry will be returning home, thanks to a new “crisis plan” taking shape in light of the pandemic.

Prince William is set to take over as “King” while his grandmother, the Queen Mum, and his father shelter in place to avoid catching the virus. Will Harry leave his wife and young son to head home and help his brother, grandmother, and father?

What is really sad to see is that he’s allowed himself to be placed in this awkward situation. Meghan’s “Hollywood” dreams have trumped Harry’s obligations to his family, and he should have never allowed that to happen in the first place.
