Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly relocated from Vancouver, Canada to Los Angeles, California, which is where the former Duchess of Sussex grew up.

A source told People Magazine that the the couple have left Vancouver Island and are already settled in in Los Angeles, where Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland lives. They had been living in Vancouver with their 10 month-old son Archie since stepping down as senior members of the British royal family back in January, but sources had long said that they planned to spend lots of time in L.A.

A source had recently said that Meghan and Harry were “looking at houses in L.A.”

“Harry is looking straight ahead at his future with his family,” another insider added. “They will be spending time in California…He’s not looking back.”

This comes as little surprised given the fact that Meghan has always been open about her love for L.A., where she was born and raised. Before marrying Harry, she had written on her now-defunct lifestyle blog The Tig: “I was born and raised in Los Angeles, a California girl who lives by the ethos that most things can be cured with either yoga, the beach or a few avocados.”

Meghan also seems to be resuming her career in Hollywood, which she had abandoned to marry Harry. On Thursday, her first gig of her post-royal life was announced when it was confirmed that she will be narrating the upcoming Disneynature documentary Elephants, which is set to tart streaming on Disney+ next Friday.

Though they are busy with their post-royal lives, Meghan and Harry have been issuing messages of support to the public throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

“These are uncertain times. And now, more than ever, we need each other. We need each other for truth, for support, and to feel less alone during a time that can honestly feel quite scary,” the couple wrote on Instagram last week. “There are so many around the world who need support right now, who are working tirelessly to respond to this crisis behind the scenes, on the frontline, or at home. Our willingness, as a people, to step up in the face of what we are all experiencing with COVID-19 is awe-inspiring. This moment is as true a testament there is to the human spirit.”
