Florida Man Fights Walmart Shopper for ‘Taking Too Long’ at Checkout

This holiday season be sure to move as fast as possible through any store you go into as you don’t want to be punched in the head for taking too long at the check out. Forget the coupons and move along!

Seriously, fights breaking out at Walmart are nothing new — there’s something about the place that just makes people angry.

Angry enough to punch strangers in the head …

Cape Coral police reported Henry Harvey, 69 and his wife were waiting in line at the retailer around 7:15 p.m. on December 4, when Harvey “became angry over the customers in front of them taking too long to check out at the register,” per a news release.

We’re wondering how that is the customer’s fault — but then again we weren’t there.

Harvey and another customer then got into a verbal argument, which turned physical when Harvey punched the victim in the head.  He then left the local Walmart and went home, where police apprehended the 69-year-old and placed him under arrest.

Police say the victim was not seriously injured and Harvey was charged with battery.

‘Tis the season for angry shoppers and pointless fights!
