This is why in every single in the history of robberies there is a getaway driver. You can’t be the robber and the driver it just doesn’t work that way.

A Kennewick, Washington robbery went really wrong when his car was stolen during the time he was robbing a business across the street. The incident, took place at 6 in the morning, occurred on the 500 block area of E. Bruneau Avenue. Kennewick Police Department responded to a call for reports of auto theft.

That’s right! He called the police on someone else when they stole his red 1992 Chevy pick-up. The brilliant owner left his keys behind on the seat which the car thief found and quickly drove off with the truck.

It gets better, eventually the police received the surveillance video and saw the reason the pickup owner was left without his truck was because he was off stealing items from the business across the street. So, obviously backfiring on him, he was booked in Benton County jail on a warrant and a new burglary charge.

Imagine having that conversation… “Sir, why were you away from your vehicle?” “Oh, well I was actually just hanging out across the street…”

Karma got this guy good.
