As it turns out, all bears aren’t completely mean.

Maxim Gavrilenko was visiting a a zoo near Moscow, Russia recently and he was left completely shocked when he waved at a large brown bear and the friendly animal waved back.

He originally started taping the creature after he spotted it sitting patiently in its enclosure.

You can hear the group he’s with encouraging it to wave back one person even threw a small snack over the wire fence which the bear caught effortlessly.
