NBC correspondent Courtney Kube had an unexpected interruption during her live report on the situation in Syria on Wednesday.
“Their concern is that they want to have Kurdish …” Kube said before her young son interrupted, having apparently walked into NBC News’ Washington studio looking for mom.
Kube then smiled and offered up an explanation and apology for the interruption to viewers.
“Sorry, my kids are here, live television” she said, while her son could be seen reaching up to grab her arm.

You could hear the little boy saying “mommy” as Kube continued to deliver the report.
