This is what scares are made for. This is what makes Halloween hilarious.

The Nightmares Fear Factory in Ontario, Canada shares the greatest “fear pics” of the day, week and month to its website and even on Twitter.

Just from looking at the photos you’ll notice people are scared and some even reveal their true selves in a time of terror.

Legend has it, the haunted house was once the home to the Cataract Coffin Factory, operated by the “eccentric” owner Abraham Mortimer.

Apparently, Mortimer was taunted by young troublemakers and one night he decided to confront them — but a stack of solid oak coffins mysteriously fell and crushed the man to death. As the story goes, the old proprietor is said to haunt his former factory, seeking “revenge” on trespassers.

The Fear Factory claims to be “scariest haunted house in Niagara Falls” and that thousands of visitors have been too scared to continue on the tour after entry and chose to exit early by screaming out “nightmares,” with over 160,000 names on their so-called “chicken list” to date.

The factory likes to change things up on the inside of the haunted coffin factory, at least 4 times per year — to keep the people guessing.
