Uber is offering a new feature for those who want to ride with their pets, according to a report from TechCrunch.

The pilot program called “Uber Pets” will kick off on October, 16 in Austin, Denver, Nashville, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Tampa Bay.

Passengers who use the feature can bring any household pets with them on their trip.

This is great because as of now pet owners had to chance it or make sure it was okay with the driver or even call a head until they found a driver who was okay with it.

A surcharge between $3 to $5 is going to be added to the ride and drivers can opt in or out of the feature.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
