Photographer Leaves Everyone Speechless With Incredible Bald Eagle Photo

Photographers often seems like they have a unique way of looking at the world that makes them different from the rest of us. If they see something incredible, good photographers are able to place themselves in the perfect spot to get an amazing image. This is certainly the case for photographer Steve Biro, who loves taking pictures of bald eagles.

Steve actually has taken hundreds of photos of one bald eagle that he has affectionately named Bruce. One of the pictures he took has gone mega-viral, with everyone agreeing that it is nothing short of astounding.

“He’s squared up perfectly, both wings are touching the water,” Steve said. “That [photograph] was the one that struck me as as little more special than the others. But I still didn’t even know how it would resonate with people.”

Steve took the picture while visiting the Canadian Raptor Conservancy in Ontario, and he said Bruce seemed irked at where he was positioned with his camera.

“He was actually trying to brush me away from where I was perched,” Steve said. “I could feel the breeze from his wings as he flew over me. The other people who were there were gasping as he came over my head. It was really quite exhilarating.”

Steve added that as soon as he got up off the rock where he had been sitting, Bruce the eagle flew over and claimed the spot. Steve began taking photos as a hobby ten years ago, saying he likes “nature pics, landscapes, city pics, I love it all.” However, his favorite thing is taking photos of birds.

“There’s something about birds that to me is captivating,” Steve said. “The way they hunt, the way they interact. Sometimes you’ll see them do things. They’ll be playful, just like children. It’s amazing how you’ll see aspects of humanity in birds – and in animals overall.”

Steve added that photography has made him see the world “like I’m a child again”.

“I try to look at it like I’m in awe of it all the time, and in wonder of it,” he said.
