Pandas are some of the most endangered creatures in the world, which is particularly unfortunate given how adorable the animals are. Now, a video is going viral showing a mischievous panda messing with it’s caretaker in the cutest way possible. It does not get much better than this!

Pandas are very clumsy creatures, which could be one of the main reasons they are so endangered. It is estimated that there are only 1,900 giant pandas left in the wild, and while this number is increasing, it is happening very slowly.

The panda in this video is currently in captivity at a zoo in Japan, where he is part of a rehabilitation program. In addition, the panda is helping to educate visitors at the zoo about the plight of his species.

As soon as the video starts, you’ll notice immediately that the caretakers and zookeepers wear little panda hats, and the reason they do this is not for fashion. Instead, they are wearing the hats to make pandas feel more comfortable around them, as the hats make the animals more recognizable and comfortable.

The video shows the naughty panda escape his caretaker’s grasp and slide down the ditch in his enclosure. Once at the bottom, the panda found that he could not get out! Eventually, his caretaker offered a hand to help him, which he gratefully took. All the while, visitors at the zoo were watching and laughing at the hilarious moment.

No wonder the video has quickly gone viral. Check out the hilarious video for yourself below!
