Kodi Lee Blows AGT Judges Away With Incredible Semifinals Performance

Over the past few weeks, Kodi Lee has earned himself legions of fans with his performances on “America’s Got Talent.” This week, he blew everyone away once again when he took the stage to perform in the semifinals of the season.

Kodi, 22 year-old autistic blind man, showed off his incredible vocal range by performing Calum Scott’s “You Are The Reason,” and he did not disappoint. During his performance, the camera panned over to the notoriously difficult to please judge Simon Cowell, who was totally enthralled by Kodi.

“Your story is unbelievable. But now let’s take it back to your talent,” Simon said after the performance finished. “Every time you come on, particularly tonight, you put your twist on a song that makes you, in my opinion, one of the most special, talented contestants.”

Judge Gabrielle Union, who hit her Golden Buzzer for Kodi when he auditioned, agreed with Simon.

“You just keep changing the world every time you step on this stage … We are so grateful to be in your orbit,” she said.

After his performance was posted online, one fan pointed out something about it that made it even more special.

“Omg this was the same song that played during his golden buzzer moment,” the fan stated.

Other “America’s Got Talent” fans were touched by the comment.

“Wow, that’s a great observation!” one fan wrote, with another adding, “I didn’t even realize that! Makes this even sweeter.”

Kodi is widely considered to be a frontrunner in the competition, the finale of which will be on September 17 and 18th. Check out his latest performance below!
