Cancer is unfortunately something that millions of people are diagnosed with. The chemotherapy process that is used to treat cancer is grueling, and it typically lasts four to six weeks. Since many cancer patients remain sick for years, they end up having to go through several rounds of chemotherapy.

Surviving a horrible disease like cancer is cause for celebration, which is why it’s so heartwarming that photos are going viral this week showing the moment various cancer patients were declared to be cancer free.

Ringing The Famous Bell

Ringing a bell is a symbol of good news in hospitals, so it’s often the first thing a cancer patient does when he or she is declared to be cancer free. As you can imagine, the moment is both joyful and emotional for them. The woman above is named Diana, and she was declared cancer free in August of 2018.

A Celebration That Deserves A Dance!

This patient was so happy when he was declared cancer free that he just had to dance! Can you blame him? I’ll be dancing in the streets to celebrate such amazing news!

A Child’s Last Day Of Treatment

A mother in Toronto, Canada posted a photo online of herself with her nephew celebrating his last day of cancer treatment after he was diagnosed with leukemia at a young age.

“After 3-1/2 years of fighting, today we get to celebrate my warrior nephew’s last day of treatment,” she wrote.

Receiving Good News

Hannah Levine from Southern Oregon was battling Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer, which caused the mountain biker to lose her mobility for months as she went through chemotherapy. Earlier this month, she learned she was cancer-free.

“I got the call,” she wrote on Instagram. “Pathology and surgery came back and there is NO EVIDENCE OF CANCER in my breasts, lymph nodes, or ovaries.”

Surviving Cancer So Early In Life

Anna Grace was only 22 months-old when she was diagnosed with opsoclonus-myoclonus syndrome (OMS) and neuroblastoma, which is a cancer that infects nerve cells in the body. Thankfully, she is now cancer-free, and celebrated her one year anniversary of beating cancer in 2017!

Jumping For Joy!

When Lacey Breeden learned she was cancer-free, she could not help but jump for joy. Photos of her celebration went viral, inspiring people all over the world to keep fighting their own battles.

Bless all these survivors and all those who are fighting cancer!
