A South Carolina husband has gone viral after he posted a hilarious story about misreading the writing on a sandwich as “b***h” only to discover it read BLT with cheese.

Robert Wilson Barnes of Greenville was shocked and appalled when he read those five letters on his wife Colleen O’Reilly Barnes’ sandwich after ordering it at Jimmy Johns. He recounted what happened in a viral Facebook post entitled “Are you freakin’ serious?”

“My wife took her sandwich out of the bag and we see THIS! Seriously? Oh, not today, not today!” Robert wrote.

Robert proceeded to storm into the Jimmy Johns demanding an explanation from a “confused” looking server.

“I pointed at the writing on the sandwich and demanded that he tells me why someone felt the need to write it on my wife’s sandwich,” he continued.

Robert didn’t realize that instead of spelling “b****,” the letters were actually an abbreviation for the sandwich’s ingredients – bacon, lettuce and tomato with cheese. The server told him, “‘Because you ordered a BLT with cheese?’ To which I replied, ‘…Oh.'”

Robert’s post has quickly gone viral, being shared over 74,000 times with over 105,000 people reacting to it.

“That’s really funny, you should have told them to write the words not the letters cos when I look at it, I got another word hahaha,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “Nah that was also subliminal lol there are other ways to write that lol.”

“Well, the biggest offense that I see here is putting cheese on a BLT!” a third user commented.
