All of us humans have used a pool noodle to swim at some point, but now, a new photo is going viral to show that animals can use them as well!

The photo shows a crocodile floating on a pool noodle across the canal in Key Largo. Victor Perez was just relaxing inside his house when he heard a strange noise outside, so he decided to investigate. When he looked out, he was shocked to see the crocodile floating on the pool noodle. Having never seen anything like this before, Victor just had to capture the sight on camera.

The photo has left internet users with so many questions: How did the crocodile get onto the pool noodle? Where was the crocodile going? What’s going on?!?

“We see crocs from time to time in our canal but never ever one on a noodle…” Victor said. “He could have been from up north on vacation just chilling.”

The photo was even shared by the National Weather Service in Key West, which said, “Yes, that is a crocodile on a noodle. Even they know to ‘Play It Safe’ when heading into the water!”

Though crocodiles are not as common in Florida as you might think, there is a breed of crocodiles called the American crocodile that is found in South Florida and even as far north as Tampa.
