A pair of 95 year-old identical British twins, who happen to be the oldest in the United Kingdom, just spoke out to reveal their secret to living a long and happy life.

Lilian “Lil” Cox and Doris Hobday said that there are two things that have kept them alive and thriving in their mid-90s: “No sex and plenty of Guinness.”

The twins made this comment in an interview with ITV’s “This Morning.” When asked why she had refrained from sex, Doris simply replied, “Well, I don’t have a husband!”

While the twins are not sexually active, that doesn’t mean they don’t think about it. In fact, they have been open about the crush they each have on action movie star Jason Statham. When asked what they thought of the 52 year-old movie star, Lil said, “Oh I love him,” while Doris added, “Well I think he’s fantastic … He is a nice lad.”

“One night with him and I’d…” Lil continued, before she was cut off by another clip.

Born in 1924, the twins have both lived in Tipton from the time they were children.

“Although similar in many ways Doris was happily married for 65 years, did not have any children while Lil had five, producing 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren,” their Facebook page states.

These days, the sisters live next-door to each other, and they celebrated their 95th birthdays together on July 20. They marked the occasion of becoming Britain’s oldest twins by starting social media pages, and they have since become viral internet sensations. The sisters said that the praise that they have received from fans all over the world has “brightened” their days.

“We have been [recognized on the street], it’s brightening,” the women said. “[They say], ‘Oh, the twins, can we have your photo?’”
