Few things in this world are as cozy as curling up in bed to watch a movie. Now, a movie theater in Switzerland is giving their patrons the chance to do just that!

Cinémas Pathé just opened a brand-new location in Spreitenbach, Aargau that includes one full theater of beds. The double beds are backed with cushiony headboards and have bedside tables on the sides. With eleven beds on four levels, the “VIP Bed” can house 22 viewers at a time. Pillows and blankets are of course also included!

“The hygiene aspect is very important,” said Venanzio Di Bacco, Pathé Switzerland’s CEO, who added that they will change the sheets after every show.

Tickets in the VIP Bed theater cost $49 Swiss francs ($49 U.S.) per person. While this is expensive for a movie ticket, it’s important to note that you will also get unlimited soft drinks and snacks (like popcorn, ice cream, nachos and M&Ms).

If the whole bed thing is not your cup of tea, you can also buy a “VIP Lounge” ticket that will allow you to stretch out on single-size sofas and loveseats.

Unfortunately, there don’t seem to be any theaters in the United States that offer beds for their viewers. If you are looking for unconventional seating stateside, you should check out the vintage furniture and beanbags at the New Parkway Theater in Oakland, California.

However, there are two separate outdoor cinema tours that are about to take place in North America this year with inflatable air mattresses. Bed Cinema is making stops in Los Angeles, Denver, and Toronto. Another company called Mov’in Bed is doing the same thing.
