Lee Greenwood is known for being one of the most talented country music artists around today. Now, a video is going viral showing him team up with the U.S. Army Chorus for an incredible rendition of “God Bless The USA.”

Greenwood actually wrote “God Bless The USA” himself, and the lyrics of the song continue to touch the hearts of patriots everywhere. It’s a wonderfully written patriotic song that was nominated for a Grammy for best country song in 1984.

“And I’m proud to be an American
Where at least I know I’m free
And I won’t forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me
And I’d gladly stand up next to you
And defend Her still today
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt
I love this land
God Bless the U.S.A.”

Greenwood was attending a Washington Nationals baseball game when he crossed paths with the U.S. Army chorus. Right in the tunnels of the stadium, they teamed up to belt out “God Bless The USA” together. Thankfully, someone was there to record the touching moment, and the video quickly went viral, being viewed over seventeen million times!

“The smiles on their faces and the pride in their eyes says it all,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “I am so proud to be an American and so proud and thankful for those who served and are serving to give and keep us free… this song is beautifully sung by men who truly love this great country.”

“Brings tears to me every time I hear this song,” a third user wrote. “We are very blessed to live in a country that is great and has freedom. It’s a shame so many abuse it.”
