There are few foods that are more delicious than chocolate cake. That’s why it’s so great that the recipe for a chocolate ganache cake is going viral this week.

Here’s what you’ll need to make this cake:

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 1 box of fudge brownie mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups of water
  • 1 cup of oil

And here’s what you’ll need for the ganache:

  • 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
  • 1 12-ounce bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips

To put the cake together, this is what you need to do:

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

2. Set out your ingredients as well as a bundt ban, mixer and/or whisk, cooking spray, spatula, large mixing bowl, medium microwave-safe bowl, and measuring cups.

3. Spray your bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray (or you can rub the inside with butter and sprinkle with flour if you don’t have spray).

4. Place the chocolate cake mix, brownie mix, eggs, water, and oil in the large mixing bowl.

5. Beat the ingredients on the low setting for around two minutes.. If you are using a hand whisk, make sure that you take more time to do this carefully so you’re not left with any lumps. The batter should be very smooth.

6. Once the batter is ready, pour it into the bundt pan and bake for about 50 to 55 minutes.

7. Let the cake sit the pan for about five minutes to cool slightly before you take it out, then carefully turn it over onto a cooling rack.

8. Let the cake to rest for about 30 minutes.

9. While the cake cools, you should begin making the ganache. First, pour your heavy whipping cream into the microwave-safe bowl.

10. Microwave it for around 2 minutes so that the cream is only just boiling.

11. Then, pour your chocolate chips into the same bowl—if the mixture begins to froth and rise up, don’t panic. Simply let it all sit together for about five minutes before whisking the chocolate and the cream together.

12. Keep whisking gently until the mixture is well-incorporated. The mixture should be shiny and smooth throughout.

13. When the ganache is ready (and this one you can taste test!), pour it carefully over the cooled cake.

14. Once the ganache has cooled, you’re ready to serve!

It really is that simple! Try it out for yourself and let us know how it goes in the comments section.
