An 82 year-old grandfather from Berkshire, England has found himself becoming a viral star after he helped his granddaughter do her nails as she recovered from surgery.

Ayla Winter-White, 20, was recovering from surgery when she posted a video to Twitter showing her devoted grandpa helping her out by doing her nails, and the footage quickly went viral.

“My grandparents came to look after me after my surgery and my grandad told me he wanted to make me feel better,” she wrote. “He told me he’s been painting my nan’s nails for 30 years and that he wanted to paint mine and I needed to share this.”

In the adorable video, the grandpa can be heard saying, “I’ve got an important job. How many coats do you have on?”

Ayla has spent the last few weeks recovering from hip and pelvis surgery, and she said her grandfather has always been a sweet man who is devoted to her grandma.

“He also worships my nan and is her personal photographer,” she wrote in a later Tweet. “What more could a woman want in life?”

Twitter users absolutely can’t get enough of her grandfather, and the video has been viewed over eleven million times!

“Whewwwwww do you see why it’s important we start families with good men? It isn’t just about us but how they’ll treat the other women in his life. This was just so beautiful,” one user wrote, with another adding, “I don’t know your grandpa but I love him already – and yes, this video almost made me cry. I wish I had my grandparents still around. Enjoy every single little moment as it is for ever. Much love and respect to you and your grandparents.”
