Actress Candace Cameron Bure is known by millions of fans for starring on the sitcom “Fuller House,” but what you may not know about her is that she is a proud Christian whose faith is a major part of her life.
“We’re Christians. The Bible means everything to me. So church is an important part of our lives and our family values that are based in our faith,” Cameron Bure said of the faith-based foundation she has given to the three children she shares with her husband, former NHL player Valeri Bure. Cameron Bure, who has been a working actress since she was 5, said she’s proud of the way she’s been able to maintain her values in Hollywood.
“You can navigate through it and you can come out okay,” she explained.
Cameron Bure went on to say that while she has tried to let her kids find their own paths in life, she is proud that her 21 year-old daughter Natasha has chosen to follow her into acting.
“They’ve all got a good head on their shoulders and my husband and I tried to be the most invested and intentional parents we could and now it’s up to them to make their own choices,” she said.
She added that she doubts that her two younger children, sons Maksim, 17, and Lev, 19, will follow their sister into entertainment.
“They think it’s incredibly boring, the entertainment industry, which I don’t disagree with if you don’t have a passion for it,” Cameron Bure said.
