Last month, we reported that blind and autistic singer Kodi Lee had blown the judges away when he auditioned for “America’s Got Talent.” This week, Kodi returned to the stage and left them speechless once again with his second performance.

Before Kodi began his song, his mom and caretaker Tina Lee knelt before him to offer some encouraging words before walking offstage to watch the performance with host Terry Crews. Kodi then started to play “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Simon & Garfunkel on the piano, and nobody could believe how incredible his voice was when he started to sing!

Kodi is a musical prodigy who has an audio photographic memory, which means he can remember music after hearing it only one time. That is certainly clear with this performance, as he knocks it out of the park with both his voice and his piano playing.

When Kodi finished his song, the judges were eager to praise him.

“You change the world and you keep changing the world,” said judge Gabrielle Union, who had hit the Golden Buzzer for Kodi last month. “Who you are and what you stand for and what you continue to do makes the world so much more of a beautiful place. And we have to stop putting limits on our children and we have to keep believing in each other.”

Judge Simon Cowell, who is notoriously difficult to please, also had nothing but kind words for Kodi.

“You continually amaze me. We are nothing without people like you, and furthermore we are nothing without our audience who so generously share your clips,” Simon said, adding that Kodi is “genuinely one of the most extraordinary people and talents we’ve had the great fortune of having on any show we’ve ever made.”

Many are calling Kodi the frontrunner to win this season of “America’s Got Talent,” and it’s easy to see why! Check out his performance below.
