A new cafe in South Korea is making visitors feel like they are walking into a comic book.
Cafe Yeonnam-dong 239-20 is located in a normal looking brick building in Mapu-gu in Seoul, and those trying to find it can do so by looking at the white gate and a tiny cutout home that sits in front of it. The whole shop is filled with black and white designs that make visitors feel like they are in a drawing.
Since the cafe opened, customers have come from all over the world just to see the unique designs of the cafe. There really is nothing like this place anywhere else!
The cafe has been open for just a year and a half, and it has just eight seats inside as well as nine seats in its outdoor balcony area. The small size of the cafe makes it even more cozy and dreamlike.
Open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m every day except for Monday, the cafe serves specialty drinks and small bites. Even the cups are black and white, making it appear as if someone drew them!
Items available at the cafe include everything from sandwiches and yogurt fruit smoothies to green tea lattes, chocolate smoothies topped with chocolate coins, and wild strawberry lemonade.
This cafe has been so successful that its owners are hoping to open more franchises like it in other countries. Hopefully one will eventually pop up near you!
