A 10 year-old Jordanian girl living in Florida just got legendary late night host Jay Leno to hit the Golden Buzzer for her when she auditioned for “America’s Got Talent.”

When Emanne Beasha went before the judges, she decided to perform the classic opera solo “Caruso,” which she described as “the hardest song” she had ever performed. When the judges heard that such a little girl was going to attempt the difficult song, they didn’t know what to think. As soon as Emanne began to sing, however, they realized that she had the voice of someone well beyond her years!

All of the judges were blown away by Emanne’s performance, even the notoriously difficult to please Simon Cowell.

“To have a voice like this is not something you can train to get, it genuinely is a gift,” he told her.

Leno, who was a guest judge on the show that night, said that Emanne was exactly the kind of act he was hoping he’d see.

When Emanne finished performing, Leno was so touched by her talent that he knew right away what he had to do.

“I feel at some point of my career, people will say, ‘What do you remember most?’” Leno said to Emanne. “I remember hitting the golden buzzer.”

Hitting the Golden Buzzer for Emanne sent her right through to the finals, and Leno said afterwards that he had no regrets about what he did.

“Emanne was amazing,” Leno said. “It’s just fascinating to me to see young performers at this point in their careers who are so excited and just relying on their own raw talent.”
