Home Depot staffers at a store in Cedartown, Georgia are being praised after they went above and beyond for a 2 year-old boy who needed a walker.

Logan Moore is a precocious two year-old boy who was born with hypotonia, which is a muscle disease that causes a decrease in muscle tone and affects the little boy’s motor skills. As Logan got bigger, his parents realized that he was going to need a walker, but they were saddened to learn that their health insurance wouldn’t cover it. Since mobility walkers cost around $600, the family could not afford to buy one, so they decided to make one themselves using PVC pipes.

The Moores did a ton of online research and watched various YouTube demonstrations before they felt ready enough to head to their local Home Depot to pick up the parts that they would need for the project. When they got there, they went to the service desk and talked to the manager Cathy Ennsley, who is a mother of a daughter with special needs herself. Touched by what the Moores had come there to do, Cathy gathered some of her coworkers to meet with them in the plumbing aisle.

Once they had reviewed the family’s construction plans, the staffers told the Moores to go out and get some ice cream and to come back in an hour. When the Moores returned, they were absolutely stunned by what the Home Depot staffers had waiting for them!

Find out what the surprise was that brought the Moore family to tears in the video below.
