Dogs are known as man’s best friend because of the amount of love and loyalty that they show to humans. Anyone who has ever owned a dog knows that each canine has their own unique personality, and the dog in this story certainly has that and then some!

Huckleberry is a 5 year-old golden retriever who loves nothing more than climbing up on the roof of his family’s home. He goes up there every chance he gets, causing passersby to worry that something will happen to him as they drive by his house.

Huckleberry’s family often gets known on their doors from concerned bystanders who inform them that the dog is on their roof. In fact, this started happening so often that the family put up a sign letting people know that they are well aware of Huckleberry’s rooftop antics.

“Huckleberry is living up to his name and learned how to jump onto our roof from the backyard,” the sign reads. “We never leave him in the backyard without someone being at home. He will not jump off unless you entice him with food or a ball!”

“We appreciate your concern but please do not knock on our door…we know he’s up there!” the sign continued. “But please feel free to take pictures of him and share with the world! #hucktheroofdog.”

It’s always funny to see the hilarious antics that dogs can get up to! There really is never a dull moment when you are a dog owner. We wish Huckleberry many years of rooftop shenanigans to come!
