There’s nothing more enjoyable in the summer heat than getting some time in the pool. Now, a video is going viral showing that humans aren’t the only ones who enjoy a good pool day!

In the video below, you’ll meet a black Labrador who was caught by her owner escaping the heat by having some fun in a kiddie pool. Labradors are a breed that come from St. John’s water dogs, and they are often found in Newfoundland, Canada. Originally, they were bred to be fishermen, and they were able to swim out in freezing cold water to retrieve fishing career or any fish that was caught in the nets.

This black Labrador is named Teal, and she lives in Moses Lake, Washington, where the weather is extremely hot. Desperate to find a way to cool off, Teal found the kiddie pool in her family’s backyard, and she did not hesitate to jump in. Teal, who is a talented swimmer, was having a blast splashing around in the water.

After awhile, Teal decided that she wanted to do some laps. It’s so fun to watch her having so much fun in the pool!

“Is she trying to dig the water? No, I tossed a rock in there,” the man filming her can be heard saying.

It’s clear from this video that Teal is a dog who is obsessed with water.
