A new video is going viral this week showing an a cappella group deliver an incredible rendition of the song “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” from the Disney movie The Lion King.

The video shows them performing a five-part harmony of the song on the streets of New York City.

One bystander described their music as real “soul,” and we would have to agree! It’s amazing that the five men were able to harmonize their voices in this way, especially in such a crowded area and with as difficult a song as this one. It’s very hard to believe that these guys are amateurs, as they sound like they are professional singers!

When the camera pans away from the singers, it becomes clear that a large crowd full of people of all ages has gathered to watch them. Nobody can deny that magic is happening right before their eyes!

The video has gone mega-viral since it was posted, being viewed over eight million times! Social media users all over the world just can’t get enough of it.

“When they start singing, nobody can walk away. Totally mesmerizing,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “You all are just fantastic, glorious, I can’t say enough. Beautiful job!!!!!”

“And why are these guys doing this on a street corner instead of a recording studio where they can get paid to do this,” a third user commented. “Very talented group.”
