Last week, we reported that Missouri infant J’Aime Brown was born at 7:11pm on July 11 (7/11) weighing 7 pounds, 11 ounces. Now, her story has taken an even sweeter turn, as she has just received a life-changing gift from the convenience store chain 7-Eleven.

One week after learning of J’Aime’s birth in St. Louis, 7-Eleven announced that they would be making a donation to the little girl’s college fund.

“After catching wind of the incredible news, 7-Eleven decided to pledge $7,111 to the newborn’s college fund to honor her entry to the world,” 7-Eleven representatives said. “Along with this pledge, the brand has also provided the family with diapers, 7-Eleven onesies, and other newborn goodies to help her parents along the way.”

J’Aime’s parents Rachel Langford and Johntez Brown were overjoyed to hear this news!

“It’s hard for anybody to even get a trust fund for their children,” Rachel said. “To get a blessing like that, it just helps a lot.”

Rachel had previously said that she saw the numbers 7 and 11 repeatedly throughout her pregnancy, but she did not think much of it at the time.

“I thought it was weird at first, and I didn’t know that (the numbers) meant so much,” she recalled. “A lot of the times (during the pregnancy) I would look at the clock and it was 7:11.”

7-Eleven typically celebrates “7-Eleven Day” on July 11 by handing out free Slurpees, but little J’Aime just got a whole lot more than that! Find out more about this incredible story in the video below.
