A youth ministry group from Roanoke, Virginia has found themselves becoming viral sensations with a dramatic stick routine that they set Lauren Daigle’s Christian hit song “You Say.”

The youths are part of the Student Stick Ministry team at Villa Heights Baptist, and they decided that this song had lyrics that was perfect for their routine.

“I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I’m not enough
Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up
Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low?
Remind me once again just who I am, because I need to know”

“You Say” has been a massive hit in the Christian music world, even reaching number one on the Christian billboard charts. The lesson the song teaches is a beautiful one, as it is meant to serve as a reminder that God will always believe in us.

“You say I am loved when I can’t feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
You say I am held when I am falling short
When I don’t belong, oh You say that I am Yours
And I believe, oh I believe
What You say of me
I believe”

These kids thought that the song was the perfect way to convey the message that they were trying to get across with their routine. It’s so nice to see a new generation of Christians showing off their love of God and spreading his words in such a visually powerful way.
