Young Man Shows His New Ferrari To Elderly Guy – Then Things Take A Turn
A young investment banker recently went out and bought the car of his dreams, which was a new Ferrari GTO. After he paid $500,000 he took the car out for a ride and got stopped at a red light.
As he waited for the light to turn green, a frail elderly man on a yellow moped pulled up next to him. The elderly man looked at the Ferrari and asked, “what kind of car ya’ got there, Sonny?”
“A Ferrari GTO,” the young man replied. “It cost half a million dollars!”
“Wow, that’s a lot of money,” the old man said, tucking his thumbs in his suspenders. “Why does it cost so much?”
“Because the car can do 198 miles an hour!” the young banker said with pride.
“Mind if I take a look inside?” the old man said, to which the young man replied, “No problem.”
The old man then poked his head in the window and looked at the dashboard. Sitting back on his moped, the elderly fellow whisked and said, “That’s a pretty nice car, all right…but I’ll stick with my moped!”
As soon as he said this, the light changed, so the banker decides to show the old man just what his car can do. The banker floored it, reaching 130 miles per hour in 30 seconds. The speedometer reads 130 mph! Suddenly, the young man saw a yellow dot in his rear view mirror, and it kept getting closer! When he slowed down to see what it was, Whoooooosssshhhhh! Something blew by him, going much faster!
“What in the hell could be going faster than my Ferrari?” the banker asked himself. He floors the accelerator and takes the Ferrari up to 160 mph. When he looked ahead of him, he realized it was the elderly man in the moped! He was stunned that the moped could pass his Ferrari, so he gave it more gas and passes the moped at 175 mph. Whoooooosssshhhhh!
The banker was feeling pretty proud of himself until he looked in his mirror and saw the old man gaining on him again! Shocked by this, the banker floored the gas pedal and took the Ferrari all the way up to 198 mph. Just a few seconds later, he saw the moped bearing down on him again!
The Ferrari red lined, meaning he could not go any faster. Suddenly, the moped plows into the back of his Ferrari, demolishing the rear of it. The banker stopped the car and jumped out. Unbelievably, the old man is still alive. Running up to the mangled elderly man, the banker said, “Oh my God! Is there anything I can do for you?” With his dying breath, the elderly man whispered “Unhook… my… suspenders… from… your…. side view mirror.”
