It’s been two months since “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek stunned fans by revealing that he has Stage IV pancreatic cancer. Now, “Wheel Of Fortune” star Vanna White has broken her silence about the situation to give an update on how Trebek is doing.

“Jeopardy!” and “Wheel Of Fortune” are two of the most classic game shows on television, and they have aired one after the other for decades. As a result, hosts Trebek, White, and Pat Sajak have gotten to know each other quite well over the years. It came as a devastating shock to White when Trebek announced his cancer to the world.

“Now, just like 50,000 other people in the United States each year, this week I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer,” Trebek said in March. “Now normally, the prognosis for this is not very encouraging, but I’m going to fight this, and I’m going to keep working. And with the love and support of my family and friends and with the help of your prayers also, I plan to beat the low survival rate statistics for this disease.”

This week, White gave a new interview to give fans an update on how Trebek is doing.

“He is hanging in there,” White said. “He is a strong man and has such a will to conquer this. Don’t be surprised if he does do it.”

When asked if Trebek had told her about his cancer before he announced it to the world, White replied, “Yes, because we’re a family. We’ve been together for over 30 years. Even though “Jeopardy!” is different from “Wheel,” we’re kind of the same.”

God bless Vanna for being such a supportive friend to Trebek during this difficult time. Please keep Alex Trebek in your thoughts and prayers as he continues this fight for his life!
